Just teasing you Tobi. Actually I really like these songs and the more I listen to him the more like his stuff, except for his latest album, it's trash! He has a nice voice,but he needs to smile more.

No, he can't smile. He can't do anything that would give fangirls like you an excuse to compliment his features. :P

Anyways, his music, and especially the second video here, really taps into me in a way I can't explain without sounding cheesy. No matter what mood I'm in, I can watch that video and be taken to the same otherworldly (yet entirely human) emotional state. Years from now, while people are laughing at our contemporary mainstream music industry, artists like Sufjan will be recognized as the archetypal examples of true musical achievement in our time.

And yes, his first and last albums are, for the most part, experimental trash.
